Emmerton Park Inc. is a community-based, not for profit organisation established to provide aged care services for the citizens of Circular Head. It is one of Tasmania’s leading Aged Care providers and one of the municipality’s largest employers with approximately 100 employees. 

Aged Care services include our state of the art 61-bed Residential facility is located in Smithton and Home-based Care packages that provide for older people to remain living independently in their own home.

Our 73 Independent and Supported Living Units provide options to suit every retirement choice and are available at 2 sites in Smithton and 1 in the picturesque village of Stanley. Emmerton Park provides residents with flexible and affordable financial arrangements, from a one-off Entry Contribution to straight rental options.

Our Day Respite Centre (Club House) is a place of fun, friendship and activity. The service operates 4 days each week and gives carers and other family members a break from caring, while older people who visit the centre experience great activities, outings and meals. Our weekly Mens’ Woodwork group enjoys restoring furniture and building items for use within the facility or for sale to the general public.
