Wharf at Smithon

Volunteers are an integral part of the extensive services delivered by Emmerton Park.
The work of our volunteers is highly respected by the Circular Head community. Emmerton Park values volunteers and is committed to improving the way in which we work together. We take care to ensure your placement is of real benefit to the community and satisfying for you. Volunteers assist Emmerton Park in a wide variety of roles. New volunteer roles are created in line with changing community needs.
As a volunteer you will have the opportunity to:
*Make a difference
*Share skills and experience
*Learn new skills
*Teach others
*Gain valuable work experience
*Meet people and make new friends
*Increase your confidence and self esteem.
If you have regular time (no matter how little) we’d love to hear from you. Are you only available after hours or weekends? If so, you may like to participate in our community events. Please print and complete a volunteer application or contact Emmerton Park 0364529400

Emmerton Park Auxiliary Committee

The Auxiliary is an integral and valuable part of Emmerton Park and since being established in 1977 has raised over $300,000 to improve the comfort of residents and safety of staff. In addition to fundraising activities, Auxiliary members have made beds, cleaned, catered for functions, worked in the garden, assisted residents with activities, sat and read with residents and generally contributed to the day to day operations of Emmerton Park.
The Auxiliary is immensely important to Emmerton Park and new members with a passion for aged care and who are willing to make a positive difference to the wellbeing of others are keenly sought. Recently, the Auxillary was highly commended in the 'Can Do Community Award' 2012.
